We currently have Diyode phone with an ATA device from Adrian. DO NOT Use long distance!  There is another option so that we don't tread on Adrian's toes - a service with a $56 one time charge. International Arduino Day : March 28, 2015

Jamie, Eva and Tony may participate. I'm sure there will be others. We have the Codeshield bring in Arduino projects Soldering workshop - Mark Solder in the morning, Code in the afternoon Eva will submit application - March 15

Hot Watta

Hooking up the hot water tank will be too expensive. We really don't need it, and this is not as much a priority as other projects for the shop.

Master Cabinetmaker Tool Instructions

Mark has a friend who has retired from a professional woodworking vocation. Mark has suggested that he come do workshops in exchange for a membership. He can teach tool use and safety instructions - He could give us instruction sheets. He is very skilled. This suggestion seemed popular.

Social and Environmental Justice Symposium

OPIRG-Guelph’s Social and Environmental Justice Symposium is a convergence of academic and community research, activism, and art focused on social and environmental justice issues. We are aiming to make research more accessible to all and to foster deeper relationships and idea sharing between academics and community activism. Our goal is to support the development of research that is useful to community based campaigns and projects working for social change and fostering a space for this exchange to take place. We would like to encourage opportunities for students and community members energy and work to be useful ..

T-shirt Making Workshop

Led by Steve Mason - 5 people attended. It went well. There is a poster on the wall by the electronics area of the result of the photo emulsion screen print.

Movie Night

- Led by Liam. Colin, Eva, Alex and a few other people attended. There were some tech troubles, but in the end, fun was had by all. There was birthday cake!

Emerge Commons

There is a space in the Old Quebec Street Mall where community can collaborate on projects and display items that relate to sustainability or community development I suggested that Gryph get a document together that outlines what groups may be able to work together and I will send it to the board.
